 The poster exhibition on Untold Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar provides historical context to         Dr. Ambedkar's struggles and triumphs, shedding light on the social, political, and economic challenges faced by marginalized communities in India during his time. Students may be inspired by Dr. Ambedkar's perseverance, leadership, and commitment to social justice. His journey from being a marginalized individual to becoming a prominent leader and architect of the Indian Constitution can serve as a source of inspiration for individuals facing similar challenges. 








Guest Lecture on Understanding of Mahatma Gandhi’s Thought’s - 4th Octo. 2023

Student’s gain a deeper understanding of Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy, principles, and thoughts. They learn about his life, his beliefs, and his strategies for social change. Students may engage in critical analysis of Gandhi's ideas, considering their relevance in contemporary contexts. They may explore the strengths and limitations of Gandhian thought and its implications for current issues.











Quiz Competition on General Knowledge - 30th Sept. 2023

       Participants often learn new facts and information during the competition, regardless of whether they win or lose. This can include general knowledge about various topics, current events, historical facts, scientific discoveries, etc. Competitions can inspire participants to develop deeper into subjects they find interesting or areas where they performed poorly. It can motivate them to continue expanding their general knowledge. the conclusion of a quiz competition serves to celebrate the achievements of the participants, promote a sense of community, and encourage ongoing learning and engagement.


Remedial Coaching Class for Slow Learners

             Department of Sociology organized remedial coaching classes for Slow learners since last two years. Remedial coaching classes helped slow learners improve their academic performance. They understand difficult concepts better.

      With individualized attention and a supportive learning environment, slow learners seem to begin to gain confidence in their ability to succeed academically. Overall, remedial coaching classes for slow learners play an important role in supporting academic success, building confidence and fostering a positive attitude towards learning.

            Faculty members contacted regularly with the students and during the class hours identifies the slow learners by interaction and classroom performance with them. During the course of time, a systematic evaluation process is used to assess the learning levels of the students. This evaluation process consists of written examination through open book test group discussion and presentation, written assignment, test and class performance.  

Value Added Course on Gandhian Thought

Department of Sociology, Ajara College, Ajra organized a value added course on Gandhian Thoughts 'Gandhi Sanskar Parikash' in association with Gandhi Research Foundation, Jalgaon.The Value-Added Course on Gandhian Thoughts sought to imbibe students with the ethical and philosophical principles by Mahatma Gandhi.

            After successfully completed of this course the students understand Gandhiji's life and thoughts on Hind- Swaraj, Satyagrah and Panchayat Raj. In conclusion, the Value-Added Course on Gandhian Thoughts proved to be a transformative experience for participants, fostering a deeper understanding of ethical values and social responsibility.
